Radio Antenna Systems Installation and Maintenance

The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit responses from Contractor(s) to provide installation, maintenance, and repair services for various radio antenna systems located throughout the State of Minnesota for Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) owned or leased radio tower facilities. The resulting contract(s) will be available to other state agencies and local units of government, on an as-needed basis. Services may include installation, maintenance and emergency repair of antenna systems to include tower top amplifiers, microwave dish antennas, coaxial cables, waveguides, and connectors. Key considerations include compliance with ANSI/ASSE Z359 Fall Protection Codes and OSHA 29 CFR 1926, Subpart M – Fall Protection Standards. • The contract term is anticipated to be from November 15, 2025, to November 14, 2027, with the option to extend up to an additional three years. • The estimated total dollar value of the contract for one year is $100,000 to $150,000. • Responders must submit proposals through the SWIFT Supplier Portal. • The State reserves the right to reject any and all responses, waive or modify any informalities, and negotiate with the highest scoring responder.
