Description
The State of Vermont’s Department of Buildings and General Services is seeking a qualified contractor to provide scrap‑metal removal services for its statewide facilities. The contractor will deliver roll‑off containers, collect mixed steel and presorted aluminum, transport the material to an approved processor, and remit a percentage of the revenue back to the State based on the AMM Index Posting Pricing. The contract is initially for two years with up‑to‑three one‑year renewal options, and bidders may elect to service any combination of the listed regional districts. The State requires quarterly sales reporting, compliance with all federal and state waste‑transport regulations, and possession of a valid solid‑waste transporter permit.
