Description
The University of California, Monterey Bay is seeking a qualified System Provider to finance, design, engineer, construct, own, operate, and maintain campus‑specific energy storage (battery) systems. The provider must also offer storage services on a usage‑based pricing model and submit a cash‑purchase cost proposal that the university may elect to buy outright. This effort includes full lifecycle responsibility from installation through ongoing operation and maintenance, with the aim of supporting campus energy resilience and sustainability goals.
• Design, engineering, procurement, construction, financing, ownership, operation, and maintenance of battery storage systems.
• Provide storage services to the university at a rate of one‑tenth of a cent per kW‑hour (AC).
• Submit a cash‑purchase price option for the university’s sole discretion.
• Access to bidding documents requires registration on Planet Bids portal.
