Request for Proposal: ALCF Equinox AI System

Argonne’s Advanced Leadership Computing Facility (ALCF) is procuring a full‑scale, rack‑scale artificial‑intelligence compute system (“Equinox”) to expand DOE’s AI‑computing capability. The contractor must supply, deliver, install, and integrate sixteen NVIDIA GB300 NVL72 AI racks, provide all associated power and cooling interfaces, design and implement the high‑speed east‑west network, integrate with Argonne’s north‑south Ethernet fabric, deliver required software licenses (excluding NVIDIA AI Enterprise which is already held), and provide five years of next‑business‑day support and maintenance. The effort includes detailed engineering drawings, Bill of Materials, installation documentation, acceptance‑test planning, and coordination with Argonne’s facility teams.
