Aids to Navigation (ATON) Maintenance

The Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control (DNREC) is seeking a vendor to provide Aids to Navigation (ATON) maintenance services. The scope of work includes the installation, maintenance, and removal of navigational aids in state-maintained waters. The vendor will be responsible for ensuring that the aids meet all applicable maritime safety regulations and are installed with minimal disruption to existing maritime activities. The contract will be for a period of three years, with the option to renew for two one-year periods. • The vendor will be required to provide all equipment, materials, and labor necessary to perform the work. • The vendor will be required to cooperate with DNREC staff to ensure that the work is completed in a timely and efficient manner. • The vendor will be required to provide quarterly assessments and task orders to DNREC staff. • The vendor will be responsible for disposing of damaged markers and returning signage to DNREC for recycling. • The vendor will be required to provide photo documentation, final GPS coordinates, and a summary of materials used and time on site upon completion of work.
