Description
The State of California, through the Department of General Services, is soliciting qualified firms to supply all components required for Main Line Guardrail systems used statewide by Caltrans. The contract is a two‑year, fixed‑price, multi‑year agreement with three optional one‑year extensions, valued at roughly $10 million. Bidders must provide detailed pricing, technical certifications, and compliance documentation, and the award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
• Supply of wood and non‑wood guardrail parts (rails, posts, blocks, bolts, washers, nuts, transition pieces, end caps, etc.) meeting MASH TL‑3/NCHRP‑350 standards and Caltrans specifications.
• Mandatory certifications include mill test reports, galvanizing certificates, FHWA eligibility letters for plastic components, and ≥ 10 % post‑consumer recycled content for metal parts.
