Two police package SUVs

The State of West Virginia Purchasing Division is soliciting bids for the purchase of two 2025 or 2026 model year, four-door police interceptor utility cruiser SUVs. The vehicles must meet specific requirements, including being all-wheel-drive, having a wheelbase of 119-121 inches, and having a minimum length of 198 inches. The vehicles must also have certain standard equipment, such as heavy-duty brakes, a minimum 10-speed automatic transmission, and a heavy-duty cooling system. The successful bidder will be required to deliver the vehicles within 153 working days after receiving a purchase order or notice to proceed. Some key features and requirements of the vehicles include: • All-wheel-drive • Wheelbase of 119-121 inches • Minimum length of 198 inches • Heavy-duty brakes • Minimum 10-speed automatic transmission • Heavy-duty cooling system • Minimum 19-gallon fuel tank • Power windows with one-touch up/down driver’s side • Cruise control • Electric rear window defroster • LED spotlight on the driver’s side • Rear door handles inoperable, rear locks inoperable, and rear window switches inoperable • Undercarriage deflector plate • Cargo area with a minimum opening height of 31 inches and a minimum opening width of 47 inches • Dark car feature (courtesy lamps disable when any door is opened) • Pre-wiring for grille LED lights, siren, and speaker • Wiring to support up to six LED lights in the engine compartment and grille • Wiring for 10-amp siren/speaker circuit in the engine cargo area • Wiring to support up to six rear LED lights in the rear cargo compartment • Trailer tow wiring harness The vehicles must also meet certain warranty requirements, including a minimum three-year/36,000-mile basic comprehensive warranty and a basic corrosion warranty.
