J--ROMO REPLACE GAC FILTER MEDIA

The National Park Service is requesting a quotation for the replacement of a GAC filter media in the water treatment plant at Rocky Mountain National Park. The purpose of this request is to purchase a GAC filter to be installed by the contractor. The existing media to be replaced is Calgon Carbon Filtrasorb 400 granulated activated carbon. The contractor will be responsible for verifying with applicable authorities and/or codes and regulations that the material is clear for landfill disposal. • The water treatment plant is currently under construction, and the contractor should be aware of this when visiting the site. • The contractor will need to verify the disposal of the existing media. • A site visit is possible, and photos of the GAC filter vessels have been provided.
