The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) to gather insights from qualified vendors, subject matter experts, and industry stakeholders on effective strategies, tools, and frameworks to comply with Governor Abbott’s Executive Orders GA-47 and GA-48. The objective is to ensure the Agency aligns with state mandates to protect Texans from foreign adversaries and to harden state systems against potential threats. • The RFI seeks information on strategies for preventing harassment by foreign adversaries, hardening state systems against foreign threats, background check and personnel security compliance, compliance and reporting mechanisms, and training and awareness programs. • Respondents are requested to provide detailed responses on the above areas, including methodologies, tools, and frameworks that can be used to comply with the executive orders. • The RFI also asks for information on the respondent's expertise and experience in providing similar services, as well as any relevant case studies or references.
