Sports Tourism Promotion Program Services for El Paso County, Texas

The El Paso County, Texas is seeking a vendor to provide Sports Tourism Promotion Program Services. The selected vendor will be responsible for administering a comprehensive program that includes marketing and promotion initiatives, event development and servicing, and performance metrics. The program aims to stimulate economic and tourism development, promote hotel occupancy, increase regional exposure and branding, support youth and amateur sports development, and enhance utilization of County facilities and venues. The vendor will be required to provide bi-monthly reports and briefings to ensure transparency, coordination, and alignment with County tourism objectives. The contract will be awarded for a term of three years, with two one-year renewal options. Some key responsibilities of the vendor include: • Developing and implementing an annual written Marketing and Business Plan • Presenting the annual plan to Commissioners Court for approval • Ensuring all expenditures comply with Chapter 352 of the Texas Tax Code • Implementing strategic marketing and promotion initiatives to increase visitation and tourism activity in El Paso County • Conducting public relations and advertising campaigns targeting out-of-town visitors • Developing public awareness campaigns to support travel and tourism industries • Distributing promotional materials showcasing El Paso County as a destination • Producing and distributing promotional materials and digital content showcasing El Paso County as a tourism destination • Promoting El Paso County as part of the Paso del Norte regional tourism market • Supporting and participating in binational tourism promotion efforts • Supporting the County Commissioners Strategic Plan objectives and creating Master Tourism Plans that drive sports tourism and other tourism elements to El Paso County
