Washington County Fair 2026 - 2028 Security Services

The Washington County Fair is seeking a security company to provide security services for the 2026-2028 Washington County Fair. The contract will be for a period of three years, with the option to renew for up to five years. The successful bidder will be required to provide a variety of security services, including crowd management, admission control, and parking/traffic control. The bidder must have at least five years of experience in providing security for large gated events, and must have a minimum of 150 Portland Metro area security personnel on staff. The estimated expenditure for the contract is approximately $250,000. Some key responsibilities of the contractor include: • Providing security personnel who are certified and licensed by the Oregon Department of Public Safety Standards and Training • Providing personnel who have a Crowd Management Certification from www.crowdmanager.com • Providing bi-lingual (English/Spanish) personnel upon request • Providing uniforms and equipment for security personnel • Providing around the clock security services during the fair • Adhering to the schedule made by the Fair at all times • Having site supervisors reporting to designated Fair staff
