Ingham ISD - WTC Transportation Services

The Ingham ISD is seeking a transportation contractor to provide field trip transportation services for students, staff, and chaperones. The contractor will be responsible for providing safe, reliable, and professional transportation services, including furnishing labor, supervision, vehicles, equipment, fuel, insurance, and other necessary items. The contract will be for a period of one year, commencing in August 2026. The contractor must provide vehicles that comply with FMCSA regulations, Michigan Department of Education requirements, and local ordinances. The contractor must also provide qualified, licensed, and properly credentialed drivers who possess valid Commercial Driver's Licenses (CDL) with appropriate endorsements. Some key points to consider: • Provide comprehensive field trip transportation services, including furnishing labor, supervision, vehicles, equipment, fuel, insurance, and other necessary items. • Ensure all vehicles comply with FMCSA regulations, Michigan Department of Education requirements, and local ordinances. • Provide qualified, licensed, and properly credentialed drivers with valid Commercial Driver's Licenses (CDL) and appropriate endorsements. • Respond to trip requests with confirmed availability and pricing within two business days of request submission during the academic year and within three business days during summer months. • Provide transportation services during regular school hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
