Description
The Los Angeles County Department of Aging is seeking qualified contractors to provide construction rehabilitation services for senior housing projects under its Senior Grant Program. The work includes repairs, upgrades, and code‑compliant modifications to existing senior‑focused residential facilities to improve safety, accessibility, and habitability. Contractors must be able to manage multiple site visits, coordinate with county officials, and deliver projects on schedule and within budget.
• Scope: Renovation and rehabilitation of senior housing units (e.g., ADA upgrades, structural repairs, mechanical/electrical upgrades).
• Required experience: Prior work on senior or affordable housing projects, familiarity with California building codes, and ability to provide a single‑item price for the entire scope.
• Submission: RFQ response due by November 2, 2026; must include cost breakdown, schedule, qualifications, and proof of insurance.
• Evaluation: Based on price, relevant experience, and demonstrated capacity to complete work on time.
