Market Survey for Elevator Maintenance and Inspection

The US Army Corps of Engineers is conducting a market survey to determine if there are a reasonable number of interested small business concerns to set aside a future project for elevator maintenance and inspection at various locations in Kentucky, Indiana, and Illinois. The project includes routine maintenance, periodic inspections, and repairs of multiple elevators. Interested small businesses should respond to the market survey with information about their experience, capabilities, and qualifications. • Routine maintenance and inspections will be performed quarterly, with no interval exceeding 3 months from the last date of service. • Periodic no-load and full-load inspections will be accomplished in accordance with elevator manufacturers' inspection criteria and applicable requirements of ANSI A17.1, A17.2, and A17.3. • Repairs will be performed on an as-needed basis, with the contractor responsible for all costs associated with accomplishing repairs and replacements. • The contract duration is estimated at 1825 calendar days, with a size standard of $47,000,000. • Small businesses must perform at least 15% of the cost of the contract with their own employees.
