The City of Richmond is seeking a qualified contractor to perform comprehensive street‑related improvements along Carlson Boulevard (Broadway to Tehama Avenue) and adjacent side‑streets. The work includes demolition, utility coordination, concrete curb and sidewalk construction, full‑depth base repair, cold milling, hot‑mix asphalt paving, polymer‑modified slurry seal, installation of traffic control devices, signals, RRFB beacons, striping, signage, and associated environmental and safety compliance. The contract will be awarded to the low responsive bidder and must be completed within a 130‑day schedule, with liquidated damages for overruns. • Complete demolition, utility potholing, and removal of existing curbs, gutters, sidewalks, medians, and bus stops. • Install new concrete curbs, gutters, sidewalks, curb ramps, bus pads, and perform full‑depth base repair and HMA paving. • Provide traffic control, signal replacement, RRFB beacons, thermoplastic striping, flexible channelizers, zebra separators, and all required signage. • Manage storm‑water protection, noise limits, and weekly certified payroll reporting; fulfill all licensing, bonding, and insurance requirements.
