Weather Forecasting Services

The Kansas Department of Transportation is seeking competitive proposals from qualified vendors for Weather Forecasting Services. The contract period is three years with the option to renew for two additional 12-month periods. The services include weather forecasting, winter pavement forecasting, virtual RWIS, video forecast briefings, and RWIS data management. Vendors must comply with various requirements, including tax clearance, certification regarding immigration reform and control, policy regarding sexual harassment, and certification of company not currently engaged in a boycott of goods or services from Israel. • The contract requires the vendor to provide weather forecasting services, including base service, winter pavement forecasting, virtual RWIS, and video forecast briefings. • The vendor must also provide RWIS data management and additional weather products. • The contract has a term of three years with the option to renew for two additional 12-month periods. • The vendor must comply with various requirements, including tax clearance, certification regarding immigration reform and control, and policy regarding sexual harassment. • The vendor must also certify that it is not currently engaged in a boycott of goods or services from Israel.
