Budget estimate

$500,000 – $2,000,000

Based on the information provided, it is difficult to estimate the exact budget for this opportunity. However, considering the scope of work and the fact that the contractor will be performing low-pass whole-genome sequencing of approximately 576 cotton accessions, the budget could be in the range of $500,000 to $2 million. This estimate is based on the assumption that the cost per accession will be around $1,000 to $4,000, which is a rough estimate for this type of service. The actual budget will depend on various factors, including the contractor's experience, equipment, and personnel costs.
