Youth Development Program Coordinator

The Maternal and Child Health Branch of Hawaii’s Department of Health seeks a qualified organization to serve as the Youth Development Program Coordinator. The contractor will adapt and deliver the Wyman Center Teen Outreach Program (TOP) to under‑resourced Oahu communities, focusing on leadership, personal development, cultural identity, and community engagement for adolescents. Responsibilities include program adaptation, facilitator training, activity planning, partnership development with families and community groups, and ensuring a safe, culturally responsive environment. The contract runs from October 1 2026 through June 30 2027. • Deliver culturally‑rooted, place‑based teen outreach services on Oahu’s Leeward side. • Adapt the Wyman Center TOP curriculum to local cultural contexts. • Recruit, train, and supervise program facilitators. • Coordinate activities, family outreach, and community partner involvement. • Provide regular progress reports and performance metrics to the Department of Health.
