R706--Warehouse as a Service (WaaS) - Robley Rex VA Medical Center

The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a contractor to provide warehouse management services, including storage, inventory management, and delivery of medical and non-medical supplies. The contractor will be responsible for managing a warehouse facility, providing labor and equipment, and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations. The contract is expected to last for 12 months, with a possible one-year option period. The contractor will need to provide a secure and climate-controlled facility, as well as meet specific security requirements for storing VA IT equipment. Key services include: * Receiving, storing, and managing medical and non-medical supplies * Providing inventory management and reporting * Delivering supplies to VA facilities * Maintaining a secure and climate-controlled warehouse facility * Complying with federal and state regulations, including those related to security and privacy. Some of the specific requirements include: * Providing a warehouse facility with a minimum of 20,000 square feet and a 22' high ceiling * Having a secure storage space with specific security requirements for IT equipment * Maintaining an electronic database of all merchandise stored * Providing an electronic mechanism for requesting medical/surgical supplies and equipment * Ensuring compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. The contractor will need to have experience in warehouse management and logistics, as well as the ability to provide a secure and climate-controlled facility. They will also need to have a strong understanding of federal and state regulations, including those related to security and privacy.
