Teaching Artist Institute Coordinator

The State Foundation on Culture and the Arts (SFCA) is seeking a qualified contractor to plan, coordinate, and execute the annual Teaching Artist Institute (TAI) across Hawaii. The Institute provides mandatory professional‑development hours for teaching artists on the SFCA roster and is open to others, with a focus this year on the intersection of arts education and health. The contractor will organize up to three island‑specific convenings (Maui, Oʻahu, Hawaiʻi Island), each 2‑3 days, serving 60+ artists, manage speaker selection, handle travel, lodging, and meals for participants and presenters, and ensure timely communication and logistics.
