Arts Education for Healthy Communities Administrative Support

The State Foundation on Culture and the Arts (SFCA) seeks a qualified contractor to provide administrative support for the “Arts Education for Healthy Communities” grant program. The contractor will manage the grant‑making process, match and disburse approximately $50,000 in funds to teaching artists and community organizations across all Hawaiian islands, oversee contracts, collect invoices, issue payments, maintain records, coordinate onboarding/exit meetings, and produce final reports. The role requires experience in grant administration, contract management, and arts‑education programming, and the contractor must be a Hawaii‑based entity that can match the grant funds. • Administer and track the $50,000 grant fund distribution to teaching artists/organizations. • Develop and manage the granting platform, facilitate review panels, and issue award letters. • Conduct onboarding and exit meetings, collect invoices, and process payments (typically two installments). • Collect final reports, maintain confidentiality, and provide program‑level support as needed. • Coordinate documentation, photography/film of residencies, and support the SFCA Arts Education Specialist. • Must be incorporated in Hawaii, have proven grant‑administration experience, and be able to match the grant funds.
