Western Kentucky University is seeking a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive Workers’ Compensation Third‑Party Administration (TPA) and Managed‑Care Services for its employee population. The contractor will be responsible for claims adjusting, case coordination, sub‑rogation, medical management, data reporting, and loss‑control consulting under a three‑year contract with optional one‑year extensions. The scope includes real‑time claim data access, mandated reporting frequencies, and compliance with Kentucky workers’ compensation regulations. • Claims adjusting services: intake, eligibility determination, reserve setting, settlement coordination, and payments. • Case management for high‑severity or prolonged claims, including medical utilization review, provider network access, and nurse case‑management. • Regular reporting (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual) covering claim status, high‑value reserves, OSHA logs, and financial metrics. • Mandatory insurance and bonding coverage, data security compliance, and the ability to pursue sub‑rogation recoveries. • Initial three‑year term (July 1 2023 – June 30 2026) with up to five optional one‑year renewals; termination possible with 30‑day notice.
