Pumpkin Festival Tower

The City of Laconia is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to assemble and disassemble a predesigned tower used to display carved pumpkins during the Laconia Pumpkin Festival. The tower must be constructed in accordance with the City-provided diagrams and specifications. The City intends to award a contract for an initial one-year term with the option to renew annually for up to four additional years. The selected contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, tools, contractor-provided equipment, transportation, and other services required to assemble and disassemble the tower. • The tower is approximately 35 feet high and 56 feet wide. • The contractor must assemble and disassemble the tower exactly as shown in the construction diagrams. • The contractor must comply with all applicable statutes, laws, regulations, and orders. • The contractor must maintain and submit a certificate of insurance naming the City of Laconia as additional insured. • The contractor must provide proof of workers' compensation insurance. • The contractor must provide a total proposed price for the initial contract year. • The contractor must provide separate pricing for transportation and delivery, tower assembly, tower disassembly, labor, contractor-provided equipment, and any other charges.
