Budget estimate

$8,000,000 – $20,000,000

The project involves extensive roadway reconstruction, ADA‑compliant pedestrian facilities, signal upgrades, utility relocations, and storm‑drain improvements over a 2.22‑mile corridor. Comparable MDOT SHA pedestrian‑safety projects of similar length typically range from $8 million to $20 million depending on site conditions, utility work, and material costs. Therefore, a reasonable estimate for the contractor’s award amount is between $8 M and $20 M.
