IFB 33-5046 METALLIC and NON-METALLIC SCRAP SALE, COLUMBUS, OH

The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Disposition Services is offering a one-time sale of metallic and non-metallic scrap located at or near DLA Disposition Services Columbus, Ohio. The scrap material will be assigned a Demilitarization Code of A and will be categorized into the Standard Waste and Scrap Classification (SCL) codes. The government guarantees to issue the purchaser a minimum total weight equal to the "Minimum Guaranteed QTY (LBS.)" identified per SCL. The sale will be conducted through a sealed bid process, and the highest priced cumulative bid will be determined by each bidder's total contract price. The bidder with the highest "TOTAL AMOUNT" bid will be considered the Apparent High Bidder and will be vetted prior to award. • The sale includes various types of scrap material, such as insulated copper wire and cable. • The material will be stored in hoppers, and the purchaser will be responsible for removal and loading. • The purchaser must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including environmental and safety regulations. • The contract will be awarded to the bidder who submits the highest bid price and meets all the requirements and conditions of the sale. • The purchaser will be expected to pay the unit bid price for each item upon removal based on weight. • The government reserves the right to reject any bids that are not in the best interest of the government.
