Description
The Alaska Energy Authority’s Bradley Lake Management Committee (BPMC) is seeking a qualified attorney or law firm to provide comprehensive, ongoing legal services for the 120‑MW Bradley Lake Hydroelectric Project. The work includes representation at meetings, contract drafting and negotiation, regulatory compliance advice, representation before the Alaska Regulatory Commission, general legal counsel, research, opinion writing, training, public‑records assistance, and monitoring of legislative and regulatory changes. The contract is a small‑procurement (estimated $50‑$100 K) with a base period from mid‑May 2026 through June 30 2029 and two one‑year option periods, for a potential five‑year engagement. The firm must be licensed in Alaska, have no conflicts of interest, and preferably possess utility, public‑agency, and RCA/FERC experience.
