Underground Fiber Optic Drop Installation Services

The Burke County Board of Commissioners is seeking a contractor to provide underground fiber optic drop installation services. The selected contractor will be responsible for installing fiber optic drops from the existing fiber distribution infrastructure to residential and commercial customer premises. The contractor will be required to perform tasks such as burying the drop fiber, installing the riser guard, and installing the Fiber Optic Termination Box. The contractor will also be responsible for maintaining drop sequential records, recording all materials used, and retrieving materials from designated storage locations. • The contractor must have a minimum of three years of experience in performing underground cable installations. • The contractor must have a valid Georgia contractor's license. • The contractor must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations. • The contractor must provide a complete inventory of all equipment proposed for use on the project. • The contractor must submit a pricing schedule in Microsoft Excel format.
