County Depository

The DeSoto County Board of Supervisors is seeking proposals from financial institutions to become the County depository for a period of two calendar years, with an option to renew for up to two additional years. The selected institution will be responsible for managing all county funds and subdivisions thereof, as well as funds for the Tax Collector. The proposals must be sealed and clearly labeled, and must include the kind of securities authorized by law that the institution proposes to give as securities for the funds. • The agreement will begin on April 1, 2026, and will end on April 30, 2028, unless new arrangements are made. • All accounts must be insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation or the Federal Savings and Loan Corporation. • The Board of Supervisors reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and waive any technicalities. • Electronic proposals can be submitted at www.centralbidding.com.
