The City of Worcester is selling a fleet of ten (plus one added via addendum) surplus police department vehicles “as‑is – where‑is” for parts or scrap. Bidders submit individual price offers for each vehicle; the highest bidder per vehicle will be awarded the title and ownership. No warranties are provided, and the winning bidder must remove the vehicle(s) within five business days and pay via certified check within five days of invoicing. This is a straightforward surplus‑sale procurement with no service component. • Vehicles include several 2017 Ford Explorers, a 2007 Ford Crown Victoria, a 2009 Ford Taurus, a 2009 Ford Explorer, a 2011 Nissan Rogue, a 2009 Hyundai Santa Fe, and an added 2011 Chevrolet Equinox. • All sales are “AS IS – WHERE IS” and intended for parts or scrap only; no refurbishment or resale of operational vehicles is expected. • Bids are due by April 9 2024 4 PM via fax or email; the city will award each vehicle individually to the highest bidder.
