1984P Transformer Repairs; Polemount & Padmount

The City of Alexandria is seeking a qualified vendor to provide repair services for pole‑mount and pad‑mount distribution transformers (≤ 250 kVA pole, ≤ 500 kVA pad) on an as‑needed basis. The work includes minor (Class I) and major (Class II) repairs, oil handling, pressure‑relief device installation, repainting, parts replacement, and final testing with a minimum two‑year warranty. The vendor must manage pickup, delivery, and containment of transformer units and submit detailed price matrices for each kVA‑voltage‑class combination. • Perform Class I (no coil rewind) and Class II (coil rewind) repairs per ANSI C57 specifications. • Supply and test transformer oil, pressure‑relief devices, and all required fittings; disclose oil cost per gallon on the price page. • Provide shipping logistics (24‑hr notice to Substation Supervisor) and maintain warranty & moisture‑return obligations. • Submit a complete RFP response by 2 PM 22 June 2026, including AFEAT documentation for minority‑business participation.
