Boiler Plant Maintenance

The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a contractor to provide boiler plant maintenance services, including chemical treatment and water analysis, for the White City VA Southern Oregon Rehabilitation Center and Clinic. The contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary chemicals, testing supplies, and technical advisory services to achieve satisfactory results. The contract has a base period of 12 months, with options for up to 4 additional years. The contractor must have at least 5 years of experience in chemical treatment of boiler plant and steam distribution systems, and must operate a state-certified laboratory to perform complete scientific analyses of water chemistry. * Key requirements include: * Providing monthly maintenance, including all chemicals for water analysis treatment of boiler plant water * Ensuring 99% uptime through proper maintenance and timely response to repair service calls * Complying with FDA guidelines and EPA regulations for chemical treatment * Providing a water treatment specialist with at least 5 years of experience and a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or physical sciences * Maintaining a toll-free phone number and email system for 24-hour access
