Racetrack Safety Inspector- Two locations, Gillette and Evanston Wyoming

The State of Wyoming, Wyoming Gaming Commission is seeking a Racetrack Safety Inspector to conduct safety inspections of horse racing tracks in Gillette and Evanston, Wyoming. The inspector will be responsible for identifying any safety hazards and ensuring that the tracks are safe for both human and equine athletes. The contract will be for a period of one year, with the possibility of extension for up to three years. • The inspector will conduct two inspections, one partial racetrack inspection at Energy Downs in Gillette, Wyoming, and a thorough safety inspection at Wyoming Downs in Evanston, Wyoming. • The inspector will be required to make a verbal report to the Wyoming Gaming Commission and the racetrack management team at the conclusion of each inspection, and submit a detailed written report after receiving laboratory submissions for the dirt samples taken during inspections. • The inspector will be considered a representative of the State of Wyoming and should conduct themselves in a professional and courteous manner. • The State of Wyoming reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive any informality or technical defect in the proposals, or to award the contract in whole or in part, if deemed to be in the best interest of the State to do so.
