DMH Medical Services Master Agreement RFR

The Department of Mental Health is seeking to establish a Master Agreement for the provision of various medical and behavioral health services to be purchased as-needed. These services may include, but will not be limited to, medical consults, medical care, quality assessments, and case consultation. The selected contractor will be required to comply with HIPAA and other applicable state or federal laws governing the privacy or security of any protected health information received or created under the contract. • The contractor must implement administrative, physical, and technical safeguards to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of protected health information. • The contractor must provide access to protected health information to the Department or an individual, as necessary, and make any amendments to protected health information as directed by the Department. • The contractor must document disclosures of protected health information and provide an accounting of disclosures to the Department or an individual, as necessary. • The contractor must comply with the Department's notice of privacy practices and any restrictions on the use or disclosure of protected health information.
