Dixon CC Recycling Cardboard, Tin & Plastic (MDS)

The Illinois Department of Corrections at Dixon Correctional Center is seeking a vendor to provide recycling services for cardboard, tin, and plastic. The contract has an initial term of two years, and the vendor will be responsible for removing recyclable products from the facility on an as-needed basis. The vendor must provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the removal of recyclable products. • The vendor will be contacted by the facility on an as-needed basis when pickup is required. • The vendor must provide a State of Illinois Shipping Report at the time of pickup. • The vendor must itemize and issue separate checks for each type of recyclable. • The vendor must comply with all federal and state laws, regulations, and ordinances. • The vendor must provide proof of insurance and licenses. • The vendor must provide a list of all toxic substances proposed for use in the service. • The vendor must provide training certification to the facility prior to the start of the contract.
