BOI 5 Year Engineering Services

The City of Boise is seeking qualified firms to provide professional engineering and architectural services for airport capital‑improvement projects funded through the FAA Airport Improvement Program (AIP) and Passenger Facility Charge (PFC). The work is structured as a five‑year on‑call contract (2027‑2032) and will cover a wide range of tasks, from runway, taxiway and apron design and rehabilitation to storm‑water improvements, lighting upgrades, security fencing, environmental documentation, and related consulting services. Selected firms will be evaluated on overall proposal quality, team qualifications, relevant airport‑design experience, and DBE utilization, with the top two firms per project list interview‑tested before award. • Core services: aviation planning, architectural/engineering design, construction assistance, surveys, environmental and safety‑risk management. • Anticipated tasks: runway/taxiway/ apron rehabilitation, cargo apron construction, lighting upgrades, storm‑water and utility upgrades, security fence/gate installation, AGIS surveys, equipment specs, and other airport‑related engineering work. • Contract will be awarded on a task‑order basis within a five‑year “on‑call” framework; fee negotiation follows selection, and the total consulting fee is expected to be a percentage of the overall construction budget.
