Description
The U.S. Forest Service is seeking a qualified contractor to perform emergency storm‑damage repairs on three buildings at the Chino Valley Forest Office (Prescott National Forest, AZ). Work includes full roof replacement, asbestos‑abatement, drywall and insulation replacement, door replacement, gutter and downspout installation, metal‑roof maintenance, window frame repair and caulking, and limited siding replacement. Optional items such as exterior painting, garage‑door weather‑stripping, and mold remediation may be added if additional funding becomes available. The contract will be awarded as a firm‑fixed‑price single award and must be executed within 10 days of a Notice to Proceed, with all work completed within 60 days.
• Mandatory scope: roof, drywall, insulation, doors, gutters/downspouts, metal‑roof upkeep, window repairs, siding.
• Optional scope: exterior painting, weather‑stripping, mold remediation.
• Contractor must be SAM‑registered, provide performance and payment bonds, and comply with extensive FAR/AGAR clauses, DEI certification, and EPA asbestos regulations.
