REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE OF KAHALUU SHAFT INCLINED LIFT

The County of Hawaii, Department of Water Supply, is seeking bids for the repair and maintenance of the Kahalu'u Shaft Inclined Lift. The project involves furnishing all transportation, labor, equipment, tools, and consumable materials necessary to provide quarterly maintenance and repair services to the inclined lift system and its related appurtenances at the Kahalu'u Shaft facility. The contract period is from July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2030. • The project requires the bidder to provide a quarterly maintenance schedule and submit a quarterly report with an invoice prior to payment. • The bidder must also provide emergency call-out repair services with response on-site within thirty hours of the service call. • The contract includes a materials and machining allowance of $100,000.00. • The bidder must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to workers' compensation, unemployment compensation, payment of wages, and safety. • The bidder must also certify that they will pay individuals engaged in the performance of the contract on the job site not less than the prevailing wages for corresponding classes of laborers and mechanics employed on public works projects.
