Motorola APX 8500 Radios, Installation and Programming Services

The Black Hills VA Healthcare System is seeking vendors to provide Motorola APX 8500 radios, including installation, software, and programming services. The requirement includes the purchase of 4 APX8500 radios with dual E5 control heads, standard APX handmics, multiband antenna with cabling, TDMA, software, and misc adapters installed in each ambulance. The radios must communicate on VHF, UHF 1 & 2, 700/800, LTE SmartConnect communication via FirstNet through South Dakota State Radio, Multikey AES 256 encryption, and ADP. The vendor will be required to manage and coordinate installation at the VABHHCS with the COR of this contract. • The vendor must provide a descriptive proof of capability to perform the services. • The vendor must provide answers to the questions in the table below with their response to this sources sought announcement. • The vendor must define the need for a staging area to accommodate item assembly and installation, if needed. • The vendor must provide tools, labor, and materials to complete assembly and installation of the items detailed in this document. • The vendor must protect all finished spaces and surfaces as required from delivery and installation damage.
