Colby Community College is seeking a qualified vendor to install single‑mode armored fiber‑optic cabling to a new 80‑bed dormitory and a maintenance shop on its campus. The work includes trenching, conduit installation, fiber pulling, termination into SC rack enclosures, testing to 10 Gb/s (upgradeable to 100 Gb/s), labeling, and provision of warranties and insurance. The vendor must comply with direct‑burial standards, provide a $1 M liability insurance certificate, and possibly a performance bond for contracts exceeding $100 k. The project must be completed by mid‑May 2027.
• Install 48 strands to the dormitory and 24 strands to the maintenance shop, using OS2 G.625 armored fiber.
