REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS TO TRAP AND REMOVE MINNOWS FROM CITY OF MITCHELL WASTE WATER LAGOONS

The City of Mitchell is seeking proposals to trap and remove minnows from its wastewater lagoons. The successful contractor will be responsible for removing the minnows and may sell or dispose of them as they deem prudent. The contract will be for a period of three years, beginning April 1, 2026, and ending March 31, 2029. The City reserves the right to extend the contract. The successful proposer must have a liability insurance policy with a single limit of $500,000 and must execute a waiver of liability against the City. The proposer must also follow all state and federal guidelines for baiting and be in full compliance with the South Dakota Game Fish and Parks Department.
