The Morton Mandan Public Library is seeking a qualified architectural/engineering firm to design and administer construction of a 2,736‑sq‑ft “Tourism Makerspace Hub” on the second‑floor freight‑house wing of its facility. The selected firm will provide full A/E services from pre‑design through post‑construction, including stakeholder engagement, schematic design, detailed construction documents, cost estimating, bidding assistance, construction administration, and collaboration with local high‑school CTE programs for educational outreach. This is a single‑award, negotiated contract funded by a state Destination Development Grant. • Full‑service design scope: pre‑design, architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, acoustic, cost estimating, bid support, construction administration, and post‑construction close‑out. • Mandatory deliverables include flexible, ADA‑compliant makerspace layouts (fabrication lab, digital lab, podcast studio, kitchen, classrooms, etc.) and sustainability/energy‑efficiency recommendations. • Required partnership with Mandan High School CTE students for hands‑on learning, safety training, and potential curriculum materials.
