Improvements to Orchard Vista and Alpine Estates Sanitary Lift Stations

The City of Grand Rapids is seeking qualified contractors to replace and upgrade the sanitary lift stations at Orchard Vista and Alpine Estates. The work includes demolition of existing structures, installation of new dry‑pit submersible pumps, new control panels, a standby natural‑gas generator (optional alternate), civil site work, utility coordination, painting, coating, and full electrical and instrumentation upgrades. The contract will be awarded to the responsive, pre‑qualified bidder(s) who submit a compliant bid by the deadline. • Replace and modernize two sanitary lift stations (dry‑pit pumps, control panels, generator pad, valve upgrades). • Perform extensive civil, electrical, and mechanical work including forcemain installation, coating, and site restoration. • Must coordinate with multiple utilities (gas, telecom, power) and comply with City specifications, EBO discount points, and drug‑free workplace certification.
