Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs is conducting Industry Days for market research purposes to gather information on Electrotherapeutic Modalities. The goal is to improve the government's understanding of the current state of the marketplace, including commercial and government best practices, industry capabilities, and innovative delivery approaches. The event will take place from February 23-27, 2026, and companies will have the opportunity to demonstrate and discuss their products. The Department is interested in current and new products, as well as products in development. Some key areas of interest include FDA cleared indications of use, mechanisms of delivery, and device accessories. Some of the key points to be discussed during the Industry Days include: • Unique features of the products • Mechanism of delivery • Proposed mechanism of action • Independent peer-reviewed published studies • Electrodes and their proprietary status • Restrictions on device use • Contraindications for use • Customer feedback • Product development • Troubleshooting issues • Device portability • Manufacturing location • Supply chain issues • Warranty and recall processes

Budget estimate

$100,000 – $1,000,000

The budget for this opportunity is difficult to estimate, as it is a Request for Information and Sources Sought Announcement, not a solicitation. However, considering the Department of Veterans Affairs' budget for medical equipment and supplies, it is possible that the contract value could range from $100,000 to $1,000,000. The actual budget will depend on the specific products and services being procured, as well as the companies' pricing and the government's budget. Factors that may influence the likely payment range include the number of products being procured, the complexity of the products, and the companies' ability to meet the government's requirements.
