Management and Final Disposition of PFAS-Containing Firefighting Foam and Impacted Media

The State of Wyoming is seeking a contractor to manage and dispose of PFAS-containing firefighting foam and impacted media. The contractor will be responsible for collecting and destroying or disposing of PFAS-containing firefighting foam, containers, and other impacted media and wastes, decontaminating equipment, and providing other related services. The project aims to protect drinking water and source water from PFAS contamination. The contractor must have experience in handling hazardous materials and complying with federal and state regulations. Key aspects of the project include: • Development of a Site Safety and Health Plan to ensure the safety of personnel and adherence to applicable regulations • Equipment decontamination and verification to prevent residual PFAS contamination • Management and final disposition of PFAS-containing firefighting foams, containers, and other impacted media and wastes • Provision of monthly progress reports and invoices • Compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations, policies, guidelines, and requirements
