25-30 RFP YOUTH PROGRAMMING AND CHILD CARE LEASE OPPORTUNITY

The City of Fairbanks seeks a qualified organization to lease designated spaces within City Hall and operate youth‑focused services, including licensed childcare, after‑school programs, and recreational activities. The lessee will manage custodial duties, staffing, safety protocols, and provide preferential enrollment for City employee children. The lease covers three distinct areas (Clubhouse, Basement, Renovated classrooms) and includes 14 parking spaces, with a minimum five‑year term beginning March 2026 and negotiable rent. • Lease of 3‑4 k sq ft clubhouse, gymnasium, basement, and classroom spaces inside City Hall. • Provide youth programming and/or licensed childcare, prioritizing City of Fairbanks employees’ children. • Assume responsibility for facility upkeep, staffing, background checks, insurance, and compliance with Alaska childcare licensing. • Contract term of at least five years with possible month‑to‑month extensions; rent is negotiable based on community benefit.
