School Bus Driver Professional Development Seminar Development and Delivery – Pupil Transportation

The New York State Education Department seeks a vendor to design, write, and manage the statewide Professional Development Seminar (PDS) curriculum for School Bus Driver Instructors (SBDIs) and Master Instructors (MIs). The contractor will develop a comprehensive 7‑hour curriculum, create lesson plans, handouts, pre‑session assignments, and a sample full‑day agenda. The award is a five‑year contract (July 1 2024 – June 30 2029) that includes attending planning meetings, delivering three regional Master‑Instructor strategy sessions, coordinating up to 50 in‑person seminars each year, conducting random on‑site monitoring visits, handling hardship video production, maintaining a database of participants, and issuing ID cards.
