The New Milford Public Schools district seeks a qualified design‑consultant to develop two conceptual design options for the reconstruction of its middle‑high school tennis courts and, after option selection, to advance the chosen design through final design, permitting, and construction‑document phases. The scope includes structural post‑tensioned slab design, storm‑water pollution control planning, supplemental surveying, cost estimating at multiple design milestones, and preparation of a complete bid package. The consultant will work on a fixed‑price basis; construction contracts will be bid separately. • Develop Option A and Option B through conceptual design, providing preliminary cost estimates for both. • After the district selects an option, deliver intermediate (≈ 60 %) and final (≈ 90 % & 100 %) design documents, including structural calculations, SWPCP, and updated cost estimates. • Prepare permitting documents, conduct weekly compliance monitoring, and coordinate with the future construction contractor who will act as co‑permittee for storm‑water BMPs. • Perform supplemental surveying as needed, integrate district‑provided administrative bidding documents, and produce a single front‑end bid package. • No hazardous‑material testing or wetland delineation is required in the base bid; any such work will be treated as an additional service.
