In-home Safety Services

The Dane County Department of Human Services is seeking a qualified provider to deliver in-home safety observation and support services for families involved with Child Protective Services (CPS) who have an established Protective Plan/In-Home Safety Plan or case plan. The provider will be responsible for delivering time-sensitive, trauma-informed services to monitor safety-plan compliance, document observations, and promptly communicate safety concerns to DCDHS. The services will be delivered on a referral basis, including mainly after-hours and weekends as needed. The provider must have experience working with families and children who have a trauma history and must utilize evidence-based practices in the services provided. The contract term will be for one year, with an option to renew for four additional one-year periods. * Key aspects of the job include: * Delivering in-home safety observation and support services to families involved with CPS * Monitoring safety-plan compliance and documenting observations * Communicating safety concerns to DCDHS in a timely manner * Providing services outside of standard business hours, including after-hours and weekends * Utilizing evidence-based practices in the services provided * Maintaining excellent communication with CPS staff throughout the term of the contract
