Math Curriculum

Houghton Lake Community Schools is seeking proposals from qualified educational publishers and curriculum providers for a comprehensive mathematics curriculum adoption for middle school and high school mathematics courses. The district intends to purchase curriculum materials and digital resources for the following courses: Grade 6 Mathematics, Grade 7 Mathematics, Grade 8 Mathematics, Algebra I, Geometry, and Algebra II. The proposed curriculum should demonstrate the following characteristics: standards alignment, instructional design, differentiation, assessment, and technology integration. The key requirements of the proposal include: • Student materials, such as student editions, online student access licenses, interactive learning resources, and homework and practice materials • Teacher materials, such as teacher editions, lesson planning resources, assessments and answer keys, differentiation supports, and intervention and enrichment resources • Digital platform, including LMS compatibility, online assessments, data reporting tools, accessibility features, and offline access capability • Professional development, including initial teacher training, ongoing support opportunities, and technical support resources • Curriculum requirements, including standards alignment, instructional design, differentiation, assessment, and technology integration
