The Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction (ODRC) seeks a qualified ambulance provider to perform both emergency and non‑emergency medical transportation for incarcerated individuals. The contractor must meet a 15‑minute response window where feasible, provide Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ALS) services, and handle transports to local hospitals as well as to The Ohio State University Medical Center and Corrections Medical Center. If the contractor cannot meet the response time, they must document the call, arrange an alternate ambulance, and manage billing as outlined. • Provide BLS and ALS ambulance transport for inmate medical needs, both emergency and routine. • Meet a 15‑minute response time (call to unit on‑scene) where location permits. • Cover transports to local hospitals, Ohio State University Medical Center, and Corrections Medical Center, including disposables and life‑support services. • If unable to respond, arrange backup ambulance, document the incident, and handle billing per contract terms.
